Our Story
Led by Radiologists Who Still Read
LMC Telemedicine is led by radiologists who still read. Between them they hold fellowship training from leading academic centers in the United States, where they also hold current and past academic appointments, and they bring years of experience inside large national and international teleradiology operations as well as academic departments. They built LMC on a straightforward conviction: radiology is at its best when the people accountable for the reads are the same people running the practice.
That leadership shapes everything downstream. How studies are assigned, how quickly they turn around, and what a finished report has to contain are decisions made by radiologists who carry the same responsibility they are setting the standard for. The bench is kept deliberately small and deliberately senior: fellowship-trained subspecialists drawn from leading academic centers, vetted one at a time and matched to the studies they know best. A facility that partners with LMC knows exactly who is reading for it.
Technology serves the read rather than dictating it. A secure, encrypted platform puts that expertise wherever it is needed, whether that is a rural hospital at 2 a.m., an imaging center covering a weekend, or a department suddenly short a subspecialist. Every study is read to the standard the founders hold for their own patients.
Lorenzo Mannelli, MD, PhD
Co-Founder & CEO
Dr. Mannelli leads LMC as Chief Executive Officer, guiding the direction and growth of the practice. Double board-certified in diagnostic radiology and nuclear medicine, he trained at NYU and the University of Washington, and served on the faculty of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He brings deep expertise in abdominal and oncologic imaging. Having founded and built teleradiology ventures across the US and Europe, he also understands the business of delivering it at scale.

Marcin Czarniecki, MD
Co-Founder & Medical Director
Dr. Czarniecki co-founded LMC Telemedicine on a conviction that still guides the practice: that a facility's size or location should never decide the quality of radiology its patients receive. Board-certified by the American Board of Radiology and fellowship-trained in neuroradiology, body, and pediatric imaging, he has worked across academic medicine, research, and private practice, including a cancer-imaging research fellowship at the National Cancer Institute. As Medical Director, he sets the clinical standard behind every report the practice delivers, and holds himself to it first.

Luca Pasquini, MD, PhD
Clinical Operations Lead
Dr. Pasquini oversees clinical operations at LMC, keeping every case moving smoothly from order to final report. A neuroradiologist and Assistant Professor at Yale, where he directs functional neuroimaging, he is board-certified in both radiology and nuclear medicine and completed his fellowship training at Memorial Sloan Kettering. He also holds a PhD in neuroscience, pairing subspecialty depth with a researcher's precision to keep LMC's turnaround fast and its reads consistent.
